Usually after the alarm goes off the children sleep again. Even when you go to wake them up they say five more minutes. So how can you make them wake up early?
1. Make a routine
Wake them up the same time everyday so their body can get used to it. For example it would be better to wake them up at 7 everyday than 7 one day and the other 7:30.
2. Make them sleep early
All of us need at least eight hours of sleep. Children usually like to sleep nine hours or more so that’s one of the reasons they don’t want to wake up early. They sleep late at night and then it’s difficult for them to wake up because their body is still tired. If they habe to get up at 7 tell them to go to bed from 10pm. It will be easier for them to wake up early that way.
3. Be gentle
When you wake up your children is better to talk in a soft voice and be next to them. If you bang at the door and scream ‘Wake up’ the children won’t want to and one of the reasons will be the harshness of your voice.
4. Play music
Put on your phone their favourite song and you will see that your children will wake up more willingly.
