Vehicle located in relation to Springbank death

Homicide Squad detectives have recovered the green Subaru station wagon they were searching for in relation to the death of Kenneth Handford.

The vehicle was located at 12.10am on Saturday 31 October in Ballarat-Carngham Road, Burrumbeet.

The vehicle is currently undergoing forensic testing.

Homicide Investigators continue to appeal for assistance to locate two of Mr Handford’s war medals.

The medals which remain missing are the WW2 1939-1945 Star and the Pacific Star.
