OPEN INVITATION
On Friday 28 October 2016, the Order of AHEPA New South Wales and New Zealand will honour the Epic Struggle of 1940 in traditional style. In keeping with the character of AHEPA and the broader Australian Hellenic community, the celebration of the Australian-Hellenic alliance will be bilingual.
With speeches, poems by students and a performance of folkloric music and dance, the invitation is open to everyone.
On 3 October, the last Anzac nurse to serve in Hellas in 1941, Mrs. Una Keast, passed away. A special tribute will therefore be made to the contribution of women during the struggle for democracy against Nazism during World War Two.
Friday 28 October from 7:30pm at AHEPA Hall 394-396 Princes’ Highway Rockdale.
