4 DEAD AND 16 INJURED IN AEGINA – THE CAPTAIN OF THE SPEEDBOAT WAS ARRESTED

After the collision of a speedboat and a pleasure boat, 4 people -including a 5 year old- died and 16 were seriously injured. The captain of the speedboat was arrested today and he said that he hadn’t seen the pleasure boat approach but when he did it was too late. The 77 year old was recently in the hospital because of health problems which can affect his brain and that’s why his friends had advised him not to use the speedboat. The captain of the pleasure boat died in the collision.
