FLOOD IN SYDNEY! – THE STATE EMERGENCY SERVICE ASKED TO EVACUATE THE HOUSES!!!

Heavy rainfalls in Sydney caused many weather warnings in several regions. 

There is flood warning in the region of Hunter, Newcastle, and the Newcastle Airport was also closed earlier today   The small town Torryburn, was isolated because of flood!  Parramatta River is also in dangerous rise level.

You all must be careful because of the heavy rainfalls.

The state emergency service of NSW to 10 announcements till now, asked from the residents of some regions to evacuate immediately their houses and stay to a friend’s of relative’s house, or even to an evacuation center.

The last evacuation order was for the houses to the region of Raymond Terrace to these streets:  Hunter St, Glenelg St, Swan St, Port Stephens St, King St and Kangaroo St.

The State Emergency Service instructs residents within these areas to evacuate immediately. If you delay your evacuation, roads may be congested or closed and you could become trapped and need to be rescued. Remaining in flooded areas is dangerous.

The evacuation centre is located at the Seniors Citizens Centre at Boomerang Park located at the corner of William and Irrawang Streets.
