Armed robbery – Potts Point

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery of a corner store in Potts Point last night.

About 8.40pm (Thursday 24 September 2015), a male armed with a knife entered the store on Victoria Street.

Police have been told he threatened a 27-year-old man working in the store, before fleeing the scene, taking cash.

The employee was uninjured and contacted police.

Officers attached to Kings Cross Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

As inquiries continue, police would like to speak to a male who may be able to assist them.

He is described only as being of Caucasian appearance, with blue or green eyes.
