Jewellery theft arrest

Detectives from Eastern Adelaide Criminal Investigation Branch have arrested a man in relation to the theft of jewellery from a city store.

On  Wednesday 12 August 2015 police responded to a report regarding the theft of jewellery with a reported value of $169,000,  from a courier at a jewellery store in Rundle Mall.

On Sunday 23 August police arrested and charged a 21-year-old man of no fixed address with theft. He has been remanded in custody to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 21 September. 

Some of the jewellery has been recovered and investigations are continuing to recover the remaining jewellery.
