A man has been charged after allegedly stabbing a colleague with a pair of scissors during an argument in their workplace last week.

About 3.20pm on Friday 4 September 2015, two men aged 33 and 48 were at their workplace in Ferngrove Place, Chester Hill, when they got into an argument.

It’s alleged during this argument the younger man stabbed the older man in the abdomen with a pair of scissors.

The injured man was taken to Auburn Hospital by work colleagues, before being transferred to Westmead Hospital for further treatment. He has since been discharged.

On the weekend the injured man reported the matter to police who commenced an investigation into the incident.

The Wentworthville man was charged with reckless wounding and granted strict conditional bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday 21 October 2015.
