Police appeal for witnesses after teen killed in motorcycle collision – Sylvania

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal a collision involving a motorcyclist and a two-tonne truck at Sylvania this morning.

A man, believed to be aged in late teens, riding the bike sustained multiple injuries in the collision on Port Hacking Road, about 5.40am (Friday 15 July 2016).

He was treated at the scene by police and NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to St George Hospital where he died.

The driver of the truck, believed to be his 50s, has been taken to Sutherland Hospital for mandatory tests.

Officers attached to Miranda Local Area Command attended the location and have commenced an investigation into the incident.
