Suspicious fire, Meadowbrook

Police are investigating a fire that occurred earlier this morning in Meadowbrook.

Emergency services were called to a business on Nealdon Road shortly after 12.30am following reports of smoke coming from the address.

Initial investigations indicate that the fire has started at the rear of the business and spread to a shipping container that housed mechanical equipment, all of which was destroyed.

No one was injured as a result of the fire.

Police investigations are continuing.
