Woman disturbs intruder in Richmond home

Just before midnight last night a woman disturbed an intruder in the kitchen of her Milner Road, Richmond home.  He turned and ran from the house.  The woman was not physically harmed and nothing was stolen.

A police dog tracked the suspect from the back door of the house, over the back fence, to a rear car park area where the scent was lost.  The intruder may have had a vehicle parked there and driven off.

He is described as about 180 cm tall, with a slim to medium build, wearing all black clothing and a balaclava.

Anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area around midnight is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
