Two men robbed – Minto

Police are appealing for witnesses after two men were robbed in Minto last night.

About 7pm (Sunday 16 August 2015), two men aged 27 and 34 were walking through a car park of a hotel on Minto Road, when three men approached them.

One of the three grabbed the 27-year-old on the neck and stole his wallet.

The 34-year-old ran and was chased by the other two men, one punched him in the face demanded his wallet he complied handing it over.

The three men then ran from the location.

Police were contacted and officers from Macquarie Fields Local Area Command attended and commenced an investigation.

The men suffered minor injuries from the incident.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the robbery, especially three men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

They were described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori in appearance.
