DESPERATE VOICE FROM GREEKS IN NEW ZEALAND!!! – WE MUST SUPPORT THEM!!!

”Dear Mr Prime Minister of Greece, don’t close the Greek Embassy in New Zealand”

A frustration message from the 5000 Greeks in New Zealand, who see mother Greece to turn her back and leave them helpless in New Zealand!

The time that Turkey increases Embassies all over the world and especially to Asia, Greece is closing Embassies in key locations like New Zealand! 

Suddenly before some days with a simple statement, Greeks of New Zealand were learning that the Greek Embassy in New Zealand is going to close on 21st of August 2015!  It was definitely a punch in the stomach of embittered Greek immigrants.

Greece once again manages to hurt her children!

The Greek expatriates of New Zealand have made several steps to persuade the Greek government not to close the Embassy, but till now there is no response!

Their bitterness is big.  They feel like they are faraway alone and neglected in New Zealand!!! 

At this point all Greeks we must help our brothers Greeks in New Zealand and we must push in every way the Greek government to revoke this decision.  Because where there is Greek community there should be Embassy or at least Consulate.  In the case of New Zealand Greeks have proposed a viable solution with $400 rent per week!  They can’t spend  for other needs millions of euros and leave at the mercy of God 5000 Greeks to the other side of the world.  All Greeks wherever we are we must understand that the system that there is in Greece doesn’t work properly and many times is works without feeling!  We for our side, must send a strong message so they can understand that Greece must support her children wherever they are worlwide.
