WHAT DO TO DO IF YOUR CHILD HAS PROBLEMS WITH THE HOMEWORK

A lot of kids struggle with school and find it difficult. There are some things you can do to help your child find it easier:

1. Sit with your child and help him with his assignements

Most of the parents work and when they go home the only thing they want is to relax. Find 30 minutes to spend with your child and help him with his homework and answer his questions. This will give him a better understanding of what he has to do.

2. Take breaks

Don’t let your child study one hour without taking breaks. Every half hour tell him to stop and take a 10- 15 minutes break but don’t let him fofget about his homework.

3. Talk with the teachers

Call or visit the teachers and talk to them about your child and what you can do to help him get better.

4. Let your child make mistakes

Don’t tell him the answers to the homework without letting him think about it. Let him say his answer and then correct him and explain to him why he was wrong. Congratulate your child for every right answer.
