Wednesday 18th November will be one of the most important days for AHEPA’S NSW future. AHEPA changes its administrative and organisational structure and displays a more dynamic and flexible role in the Greek community of Sydney, following the trends and developments of nowadays. It is known that the Greek associations of Australia operate with the organisational structure of 50′, with the known adverse effects and their disappearance. So it is common that most Greek Australian associations operate with the absence of young Greeks of the second and third generation. AHEPA, with the new statute, manages to overcome this problem and to attract the Greek-Australians and also the hundreds of new Greeks who came to Australia the last months. This new step of AHEPA gives it the flexibility to a more leading role in the Greek community. Good luck.
