It may seem true, but it is not… it is actually  a robotic cat named Companion Pet Cat. It is manufactured by Hasbro and its sole purpose is to hold company to the

elderly.

Known for children’s toys and board games, the company announced the cat at the presentation of a new series, which is titled Joy For All and is aimed at senior citizens.

The Companion Pet Cat can purr and thanks to the built-in motion and light sensors it can realistically respond when you hold it,  embrace it and pat it.

When you leave it for a long time alone, it closes its eyes and falls ‘sleep’ in order not to spoil the four batteries required to operate.
The price is $ 99.
