A THREAT THROUGH FACEBOOK RECEIVED THE UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY!!!

A threat against staff and students of the Kensington campus was made this morning. The threat was made through Facebook and both the campus and the police of NSW are trying to find out where the threat came from. The campus made the following announcement: “we are treating this incident seriously and have been liaising with the NSW Police through the anti-terrorism and security group and Local Area Command”.
The police advised the staff and the students not to change normal university activities, to remain vigilant about security and report any suspicious individuals or activities, incidents or crime in progress to UNSW security services.
The campus till now has not been evacuated and classes continue as normal, but they announced to the students that if they will decide to leave the campus they will not be penalised.
