Katerina Stefanidi cleared 4.86m. and got the record for the highest jump in the world for 2016 in pole vault women. She is the fifth woman who jumped over that height in the history of the sport and she wanted to try for 5 metres but she failed. This doesn’t mean that she will stop trying because her improvement is obvious. Last year she could jump over 4.77 metres and this year 4.86m!!
