WHY DID THE STUDENT REJECT TO SHAKE ALEXIS TSIPRAS’ HAND?

Big disruption has caused the Greek student who rejected to shake hands with the Greek prime minister Alexis Tsipras when he visited New York.  The handshake rejection caused reactions and it was filmed by the people who were there during the event.  According to information from «Ethnikou Kirika» the reason that the student did not give his hand to Alexis Tsipras is because of his religious piety and his beliefs for the institution of marriage generally.
