Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at Maroubra last night. About 9.30pm (Tuesday 12 July 2016), a man entered a pharmacy on Anzac Parade. Police have been told the man, armed with a syringe, demanded money from the female pharmacist. The pharmacist complied and the man fled with cash and medicine. No one was injured. Officers from Eastern Beaches Local Area Command attended and conducted a patrol of the area. No one was located. As part of their investigation, they would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist them. He is described as having a tanned complexion and was seen wearing grey pants, a black jacket with white stripes on the wrist and waste, black runners with white tread and a backpack. Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
