Police investigate suspicious fire at disused school – North Parramatta

Police are investigating after a fire at a disused school in North Parramatta overnight.

About 12.40am (Sunday 24 July 2016), emergency services were called to the corner of Kissing Point Road and James Ruse Drive, after reports of a fire.

Officers from Fire & Rescue NSW extinguished the blaze; however, the disused hall has been destroyed.

No one was injured during the incident.

Investigators are treating the fire as suspicious and are expected to examine the scene later today.

The cause of the fire has not yet been established.

Anyone with information about the circumstances surrounding the fire is urged to come forward.
