Public place shooting – Merrylands

Police are appealing for information after a public place shooting in Sydney’s west this morning.

About 3.30am (Thursday 8 December 2016), a number of shots were fired into a business on Merrylands Road, Merrylands.

No one was at the location and no one was injured.

The incident was reported to police from Holroyd Local Area Command who commenced inquiries.

Two bullet fragments were located at the business.

Police are treating the shooting as targeted and urge anyone with information to come forward.
