70.000 HOMES WERE WITHOUT ELECTRICITY IN SYDNEY FROM THE YESTERDAY STORM

Yesterday was very hot.  The thermometer was showing 40 degrees celsius!

But in a few hours the weather wasn’t the same.

The sun disappeared and the sky became black and then it started raining heavy and had strong wind!

Many homes had damages and one driver died when a tree hit his car.

A shop in Rockdale, on Princess Hwy suffered great damage and the traffic stopped in both lanes for a long time.

About 10.000 homes are now without power and they are trying to fix it.
