What are the defects?
Some chargers are short circuiting while connected to a power outlet.
What are the hazards?
The defect could potentially result in fire, electrical shock (if internal components of the charger are exposed) or serious injury.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should immediately cease using the charger and return it to any JB Hi-Fi or JB Hi-Fi Home store for a full refund.
