Virus Zika started is spreading explosively and this makes the WHO to concern. According to the WHO scientists, it is estimated there could be 3-4m Zika infections in the Americas over the next year.
The virus till now has inflected Americas countries but there is a fear in rising to epidemic.
Zika virus has been blamed for the birth defect microcephaly, a condition that causes babies to be born with an abnormally small head.
The WHO advises pregnant women against going to the areas where it has been detected.
There is no vacine yet for the virus. This will take long. Almost 10 years!
The general manager of WHO, Mrs Margaret Chan sail that the committee will meet on 1st of February to discuss about the chance the ZIKA virus to be affected countries and elsewhere.
