The centre of Sydney was full of blue and white colours!!! Thousands of Greeks went to Martin Place and Opera House to celebrate the 25th March with the parade that took place on Sunday.

It was impressive how many Greeks were there in honour of the heroes of the Greek revolution.

Greeks of all ages, from young children to aged adults, celebrated the 25th March.

The event was one of the several others which took place in different places all over Sydney.

Members of the Greek Orthodox church, the Greek community, the Australian government and opposition party were there to celebrate the Independence Day.

All the Australians and tourists who saw the parade and the dances outside Opera House, felt the pride the Greeks had for their ancestors.
