A man will face court today after he was allegedly caught carrying a knife and ammunition at Campbelltown Railway Station this morning.
About 7.30am (Monday 13 February 2017), officers from the Police Transport Command were patrolling Campbelltown Railway Station as a part of Operation Disrupt, the bad behaviour blitz on the rail network.
Officers stopped and spoke to a 19-year-old Bargo man. Following investigations, officers searched the man and allegedly located a folding knife and two rounds of .22 calibre ammunition.
The items were seized and will undergo forensic examinations.
The man was arrested and taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with possess ammunition, custody of knife in public place, and not have valid ticket.
He was refused bail and is due to appear at Campbelltown Local Court today.
