Police appeal for information following a serious crash – Lakemba

Police are seeking assistance from the public after a serious motor vehicle crash in Lakemba today.

About 6.20am (Friday 2 September 2016), police were called to Haldon Street, Lakemba, following reports of a crash.

Officers from Campsie Local Area Command attended the scene where they found a blue Mazda had crashed into two parked cars.

The driver of the Mazda, a 68-year-old woman, was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics and taken to Prince of Wales Hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact Crime Stoppers.
