The “war” of headset virtual reality starts and HTC aspires to go better with comparison in the area of the smartphones/tablets, betting the hopes in HTC Vive that it was developed in cooperation with Valve.
In contrast with other headset virtual reality (e.g. Gear VR), the HTC Vive is an integrated system with his own screen and computer, so it doesn’t depend on the connection of a smartphone. It offers viewing angle 100°+ in resolution of 1080 x 1200 for each eye and it supports the operating systems SteamOS, Windows, Linux and OS X.
For the time being we have no official information about the price and the release date , but we can watch the new promo video of the company and one demo gameplay video from the NODE, which develops the Hover Junkers.
