BREAKING NEWS – Police Operation At Central Station SYDNEY

A police operation is underway at Haymarket this morning (Thursday 25 February 2016).

About 9am concerns were expressed for the welfare of a woman near Central Railway Station.

Local road closures are in place while the police operation is in progress.

Specialist police will speak with the woman in an effort to resolve the situation peacefully

Eddy Avenue and a part of Pitt Street have been closed and light rail services have been suspended between Central and Exhibition.

Buses are delayed up to 60 minutes in Elizabeth street.
