A man will face court next month after a fight between two patrons in a Sydney restaurant overnight.
At 11.30pm yesterday (Monday 19 September 2016), the 54-year-old was dining with a group at the Pitt Street restaurant.
It will be alleged the 54-year-old became involved in a verbal argument with a 34-year-old man.
The argument has turned physical, leaving the 34-year-old with scratches to his neck and a small cut to his head.
Police attended and arrested the 54-year-old at the scene. A broken glass jug found in the restaurant will be forensically examined.
The 34-year-old was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital for further treatment to his wounds, which are not considered to be life-threatening.
The 54-year-old man was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, affray and possessing a dangerous implement .
He was granted conditional bail prior to his appearance in Downing Centre Local Court on 5 October 2016.
