In an attempt to fight the impersonations and fake profiles, Facebook started to test the mode of the new tool that warns the users if their name or photo of their profile are used in a new account.

According to Mashable, when Facebook detects a double account, it asks the original owner of the account if he or she wants to request for the fake one to be deleted. The process is automatic, while, however, the final deletion of the second account is manually after inspection by the Facebook team.

Note that the company is testing new tools in order to fight cyber bullying experiences which happen more to the women users of the social network.
