EPIRUS IS A MESS AFTER THE EARTHQUAKES THE LAST 24 HOURS

Last night has been very dramatic for Epirus and more specifically for Ioannina that is the centre of the earthquakes. The first earthquake had a magnitude of 5.4 on the Richter scale and it occurred around 11:15pm (7:15 am for Sydney). The earthquake could be felt everywhere in Epirus. The earthquake followed eight aftershocks with magnitude from 4.3 to 5.1 on the Richter scale. Until now there are no casualties but there are serious damages. The road Ioannina-Kozani has been closed.
