Police have charged a 40–year-old man from Adelaide’s northern suburbs with aggravated assault causing serious harm, unlawful detention and breach of bail.
Police will allege a 30-year-old woman, who is known to the accused, was assaulted and detained at a northern suburbs address on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November. The accused was arrested on 30 November after the woman left the property.
The victim was admitted to hospital for the treatment of her injuries.
Police will further allege that the man removed his home detention bracelet on Saturday 21 November.
The arrested man appeared in court yesterday and has been remanded in custody.
