Police appeal for information following assault – Blacktown

Police will address the media following an assault of a woman in western Sydney.

The incident happened about 1.30am today (Friday 27 November 2015), when a man approached the woman, who standing in the front yard of her home in Federal Road.

The 24-year-old woman was punched and threatened with a knife, while two other men tried to gain entry to the house.

Police from Blacktown Local Area Command and NSW Ambulance Paramedics were called to the scene. The woman was checked by Paramedics but was uninjured.
