Update: Fatal traffic crash, Mutdapilly

QUEENSLAND

A man has died in a serious two vehicle traffic crash that occurred on the Cunningham Highway at Mutdapilly this morning.

Police were called to the scene at around 1am, after a milk tanker and a utility collided.

The driver of the utility, a man believed to be in his 20s, died at the scene.

The Cunningham Highway is currently closed in both directions between Stephens Road and Champions Way.

The Highway is expected to reopen in an hour.

Motorists are advised to take alternative routes.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
