Man arrested after stealing car at Murray Bridge

At about 11.20am, police were called to Swanport Road after reports that a man on a bicycle had swerved in front of a car causing it to collide with him. He then allegedly pulled the female driver out of the car and drove off with it.

He collided with several other cars and a stobie pole before being arrested at the scene.

The arrested man has been taken to hospital for treatment of injuries suffered in the collision.

There are currently traffic delays on Swanport Road, so please avoid the area if possible.
