Cannabis plants discovered following fire – Dundas Valley

Police are investigating after cannabis plants and a hydroponics setup were discovered in a home, following a fire at Dundas Valley last night.

About 6.30pm (Sunday 1 November 2015), Fire & Rescue NSW fire-fighters requested police assistance at a house fire on Yates Avenue, Dundas Valley.

After the fire was extinguished, a number of cannabis plants and a hydroponics set-up were located within the home.

No one was injured during the incident.

Officers from Rosehill Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene, which will be examined by specialist forensic officers.

Investigations are continuing and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
