Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery at a drive through coffee venue in Bell Post Hill yesterday.
Investigators have been told a man carrying a star picket entered the premises on Thompson Road around 5.55am.
He approached the lone attendant and demanded that he hand over cash.
The attendant complied and the bandit then left the store and was last seen heading south along Thompson Road.
The offender is perceived to be Caucasian, in his early 30s with a slim build and gaunt face.
At the time of the offence he was wearing a black hooded jumper, blue jeans and was carrying a black backpack.
Investigators have released a FACE image of a man that they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
