Inquiries continue into M5 crash

Two men remain in hospital following a crash just off the M5 at Milperra yesterday.

It was shortly after 2pm (Monday 20 June 2016) that a Nissan Skyline and a utility collided on the M5 off-ramp at Henry Lawson Drive.

The driver of the Nissan, a 39-year-old man from Rutherford, was trapped for a short time before being released.

He is being treated at Liverpool Hospital for a fractured right leg.

Investigations are continuing; however, police are awaiting the results of blood and urine tests.

The driver of the utility, a 57-year-old man from Revesby, also remains in Liverpool Hospital under observation.

Inquiries into the cause of the crash continue by officers from Bankstown Local Area Command.
