Police have arrested a man after a robbery at Blair Athol last night.
Just before 6pm, a man entered a deli on the corner of Prospect Road and Leslie Avenue.
Police will allege he threatened staff with a needle before fleeing on foot with a small amount of cash.
A short time later, Police attended, and with the help of Police dog Kraze, located the man hiding in a yard nearby.
The 33-year-old Prospect man was taken to hospital for assessment. He was charged with aggravated robbery and was refused bail to appear in the Holden Hill Magistrates Court today.
