Man presents at hospital suffering gun-shot wounds – Auburn

A man has attended the Emergency Department at Auburn Hospital suffering a number of gun-shot wounds.

About 1am (Friday 4 December 2015), a 24-year-old man presented at hospital suffering gun-shot wounds to his back and legs.

He attended the hospital with a friend.

The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, and he has been transferred to Westmead Hospital for further treatment.

Police from Holroyd Local Area Command are conducting a full investigation and would like to speak with anyone who may have information that can assist.

Early investigations suggest the incident may have taken in the Guildford area.
