Police investigate death of woman in Dandenong

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman in Dandenong this evening.

Emergency services were called to an address in Sheales Street around 7.20pm after reports of a fire at a residence.

Crews attended and a woman in her 50s was found deceased.

The circumstances surrounding her death are yet to be established but it is being
treated as suspicious.

Homicide Squad detectives are en route to the scene.
