Police investigate following fatal crash at Elmore

Police are investigating following a single vehicle fatal crash at Elmore overnight.

It’s believed a blue Ford sedan was travelling south along the Northern Highway when it veered right off the road and struck a tree about 12.40am.

The driver and sole occupant of the car died at the scene.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
