Suspicious fire in Yelta

Mildura Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses following the discovery of a burnt out car in Yelta this morning.

Police were called to Little Cowra Road following reports of a car on fire about 4am.

The 2001 silver Ford Falcon has been seized for forensic examination as the fire is being treated as suspicious.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses or for anyone with information to come forward.

In particular they would like to hear from anyone who saw the silver car on the side of the road over the weekend or in the days leading up to the incident.
