UPDATE – Man arrested after stealing car and crash at Murray Bridge
A man has been arrested after allegedly stealing a car and crashing it at Murray Bridge earlier today.
At about 11.20am, police were called to Swanport Road after reports that a man on a bicycle had swerved in front of a grey Toyota station wagon causing it to collide with him. He then allegedly pulled the female driver out of the car and drove off with it.
He then collided with another car and a stobie pole before being arrested at the scene.
The arrested man has been taken to Murray Bridge Hospital for treatment of injuries suffered in the collision.
