Appeal for information after shot fired into restaurant – Harris Park

Police from Parramatta Local Area Command are appealing for witnesses after a shot was fired into a restaurant in Sydney’s west last night.

Just before 9pm (Tuesday 25 August 2015), a single shot was fired into the Indian restaurant on Wigram Street, Harris Park.

The bullet went through the front window of the restaurant and hit a shelf. Between 30 and 40 customers and staff were in the restaurant at the time; however nobody was injured.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward, in particular a woman who was nearly knocked to the ground by a man running along Wigram Street.
