Fatal truck crash at Arcadia
Police and emergency services are currently at the scene of a fatal crash in Arcadia, near Shepparton, which has claimed the life of an unidentified driver.
It’s believed a prime mover with a semi-trailer was travelling south on the Gouldburn Valley Highway, between Gribben and Karramomouos roads, when it veered left off the road and hit a tree about 12.50am.
The truck caught fire with the unknown driver trapped inside.
The driver and sole occupant of the truck died at the scene and has yet to be formally identified.
No other vehicles were involved.
