Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an incident at a home unit in Wiley Park overnight.
Two girls, aged four and five, were found in a bedroom by Fire & Rescue NSW officers, who had been called to the unit in Denman Avenue about 7.50pm (Monday 24 August 2015), after smoke was noticed.

The children’s uncle told emergency personnel he was locked outside the home, and called Fire & Rescue NSW when he smelled smoke.
A saucepan left on a cook-top has been blamed for filling the unit with smoke.
