Man robbed on Boathouse Drive

A man was robbed as he walked along Boathouse Drive in Melbourne last night.

The 35-year-old Chadstone man was walking to his car when an unknown male approached him and struck him to the side of his head at 11.20pm.

The victim stumbled and the assailant grabbed his bag, which he had been carrying on his shoulder.

The offender ran off towards St Kilda Road.

The offender is described as approximately 188cms with a medium build.
